Sitting in its own lake, across from the Science Museum, is the Hemisfèric. It’s been designed to look like a giant eye, sitting half-submerged, complete with “eyelids” which open and close to control the ventilation.

There are various films each day. For most films, there are headsets which translate the commentary into English, or other European Languages. There’s also a planetarium show.
It’s also possible to arrange a Guided Tour of the Hemisfèric (in English or Spanish), where as well as admiring the architecture up close, you can learn more about the technology that controls the eye, and the projection system. The cost is €25 for a guide, regardless of the number of people.

You can find the list of current films here, or Call 902 100 031 for details and reservations.
