Valencia has a rich and interesting history, and the architecture in the City Centre reflects that. In the , you can find a Baroque Church, the Gothic , and the Modernist building, all standing within 50m of each other.
Don’t miss the Cathedral, with the Miguelete clock tower – if you have the energy, climb to the top for a stunning view of the , then head around the side of the Cathedral to reach the , with the equally impressive . There are some nice (but slightly overpriced) cafés around the square, where you can sip a and watch the world go by.
The whole of the City Centre is dotted with interesting churches and buildings – don’t be afraid to just head off and explore!
